Summer is almost here! The months between school years represent a terrific opportunity for students to have fun, learn new things, take on new challenges, and make new friends. This summer we are pleased to be able to offer a diverse array of camps and classes for students entering Kindergarten through 12th grade across athletics, engineering, math, science, the arts, and even culinary classes. Students can also take advantage of music lessons, tutoring through Learning Support Services, and even an opportunity to earn school credit for a class!
These programs are great for students who are looking to explore new areas of interest, get a boost for a class they will be taking in the fall, build athletic conditioning prior to the next sports season, or just a creative outlet—there is literally something for everyone.

Some of the summer offerings include:
Kindergarten Readiness: This camp is designed to help your child confidently transition to Kindergarten. Students will experience elements of a typical Kindergarten day. Their day may include a tour of the building, meeting new friends, and being introduced to beginning level Kindergarten concepts. Students will be instructed by the current Kindergarten teachers for the upcoming school year.
Full-Day Summer Camp: The X-Tended Full-Day Camp is designed for the student who is interested in a full-day camp experience. The camp provides enriching and fun activities for children entering grades 1–6 in the fall of 2018. All campers are exposed to daily activities that help them sharpen their academic skills, learn a new skill or interest, and have fun with new and old friends.
The X-Tended Full-Day Camp is conducted Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m. Students will attend enrichment camps Monday–Thursday in the morning and/or afternoon. Friday will be an off-campus field trip day. Students must bring a bag/cold lunch and beverage from home each day; MCA will not provide lunch.
The full-day experience will be offered for ten weeks from Monday, June 4 to Friday, August 17, with a week break during the Fourth of July Holiday week.
Driver’s Education: MCA is continuing to partner with Passion Drive to offer our students an opportunity to take Driver’s Education classes on site at Maranatha. Certified, background checked instructors make it a fun, safe, learning environment and use state of the art safety equipment in the lessons! Registration will be at mypassiondrive.com.
