Maranatha Boys’ Basketball 3rd in State Tournament

The Mustang boys’ basketball team wrapped up an amazing season with a victory in the third place game on Saturday, March 15. Senior Josh Goldschmidt ended his career with a 45 point performance. Way to go Mustangs!!!

Jeremiah Hanson Scores 1000th Point

On Friday, December 27th, the Maranatha Mustangs boys’ basketball team played Breckenridge High School. Early in the competition, Jeremiah scored his 1000th career point. Jeremiah and the Hanson family were honored on Parent/Senior night. Jeremiah is the 8th and final Hanson brother to come through the MCA basketball program. He is the 7th brother to reach the 1,000 point plateau.

Boys’ Basketball Advances to State

The Mustangs defeated Minneapolis North in the section 4A finals on Friday March 7th to advance to the MSHSL State Tournament. The Mustangs were lead in scoring by Jeremiah Hanson (17), Josh Goldschmidt (16), Cam Monson (10), Jake Meyen (9), and DaMario Armstrong (9).
