Girls Softball – Enjoying the Snow!?

The Softball team took some time away from practicing in the gym to enjoy some sun outside finally and get the field cleaned up. Looks like they found another teammate in Frosty!

Softball takes two on Saturday

The Mustang softball team traveled to Mayer on Saturday for two games vs. Section 4 competitors Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (ACGC) and host team Mayer Lutheran. Mustangs climb to 8-1 on the season

The Mustang softball team climbed to 8 wins on the season with recent wins over conference teams. The Mustangs traveled to Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity, on a windy afternoon game April 18th and grinded out a 1-0 win.  Saturday April 22nd matched the Mustangs against top conference team Southwest Christian and won convincingly in a 14-1, 5 inning run

2017 MCA Invitational

The MCA Softball Program hosted their 3rd invitational softball tournament Saturday, April 15th at the Zane Softball Fields.   The Mustang softball team traveled to Columbia Heights Monday to open the 2017 season.  The team started the game with great energy and finished strong rolling past Columbia Heights with a 12-1 win. On a very cold and windy day the Mustangs softball team faced another tough conference/section foe in the Bulldogs from LP/HT.  The opponents bats were active from the first inning stretching a lead to 7-0 by the 3rd inning on what looked to be a laugh-er and potential run rule loss for the home team.
